Reliable System Expertise

Maintaining system reliability, performance and scalability is crucial for our organization's success. As a proactive engineer with experience in automation, process improvement and system stability, you will thrive in this role.

We're looking for someone who can use monitoring tools to foresee issues, implement best practices to prevent downtime and ensure high availability. You should have a passion for maintaining production systems and improving overall user experience.

Responsibilities include creating automation scripts, developing and managing monitoring systems, setting up alerts and making decisions that ensure robustness and reliability.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps or similar role.
Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including database design, performance tuning and querying techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure as code skills with AWS CDK.
  • Monitoring and logging expertise with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry or SigNoz.
  • Scripting skills in languages like Python or Typescript.
  • Able to design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to debug complex issues and identify root causes.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects.

This is a remote home-based role working US hours.
