Learning Experience Designer

Create engaging learning experiences that drive business outcomes. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will work with subject matter experts to identify required learning outcomes and target learner populations.

  • Apply best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create compelling course content.
  • Identify the most appropriate delivery mechanisms for e-learning, virtual classroom, face-to-face training etc.
  • Set instructional end goals and match them with the created content.
  • Visualize instructional graphics, user interface and finished product for e-learning.
  • Enhance the learning process with interactive exercises, activities etc.
  • Create supporting materials/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc).
  • Devise modes of assessment (tests or quizzes) to measure course effectiveness.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Lesson planning skills.
  • Working knowledge of multiple web design technologies (HTML) and multi-media formats (jpg, mp4, mp3).
  • Visual design skills (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts.
  • BA or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar relevant field.
  • Certification in Instructional Design preferred.
