Cloud Engineer

Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement cloud-based solutions for production deploys.
  • Develop and improve monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure as code configurations to set up cloud environments on AWS.
  • Implement methodologies and procedures to ensure resilience and automatic recovery from failure.
  • Communicate with various departments of the organization.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, ideally with 1+ Associate level certification.
  • Work experience in infrastructure, database, and network administration for scalable applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux System Administration & Bash scripting.
  • Proven experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS Serverless technologies.
  • Familiarity with web services, APIs, and RESTful architecture.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.
  • Experience with Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Familiarity with Grafana, a popular open-source monitoring stack.
  • Development background – experience with Python, NodeJS, and Nginx configuration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
