Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller - Oral Surgery to join our team at ZIA. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in medical billing and coding.

About the Role
  • Billing and Coding: Accurately code dental oral surgery procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and CDT codes.
  • Claims Submission: Submit clean, accurate, and timely claims to insurance companies and follow up as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely follow-up on unpaid or denied claims.
  2. Identify, research, and appeal denied or underpaid claims, resolving discrepancies with insurance companies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Health Administration, Medical Billing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in oral surgery billing.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental coding, billing practices, and insurance policies (including Medicare and Medicaid).
