Job Description

Architectural Strategy and Vision

  • Lead the development of a cohesive, long-term application architecture roadmap to align with enterprise goals.
  • Define architectural frameworks, standards, and guiding principles for scalable systems.
  • Act as the primary architect, identifying shared requirements and creating foundational systems that support business domains.
  • Ensure architectural decisions are informed by broader technology and enterprise objectives.

Technology Leadership

  • Making high-level decisions on technology stacks and design approaches to ensure technical excellence.
  • Evaluating and adopting emerging technologies to maintain innovation.
  • Governing and overseeing architecture review processes and lifecycle standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partnering with executives, engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Translating business requirements into high-performing solutions.
  • Communicating architecture strategies effectively across stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Mentoring and guiding the architecture team to foster professional growth.
  • Promoting a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Aligning team resources with organizational priorities and key projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture; 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in enterprise-scale application design and architectural governance.
  • Strong knowledge of patterns like microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (especially Azure).
  • TOGAF or similar certification preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in system integration, API design, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile and digital transformation practices.
