We are looking for a skilled Credentialing Specialist to join our team at Eviden. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying the credentials of medical professionals and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
You will work closely with healthcare organizations to manage the credentialing process, verify application accuracy, conduct background checks, and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Oversee the credentialing process for healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other licensed professionals.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of provider applications, ensuring all required documents are submitted.
- Conduct thorough background checks, license verifications, and references to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and hard copy files of all credentialing documentation.
You will communicate with providers to address discrepancies or missing information. Monitor expiring licenses and credentials, initiating the renewal process to avoid disruptions in services. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and requirements at all times.
Assist in preparing for and participating in audits and regulatory reviews. Provide support and guidance to internal staff on credentialing and privileging processes.
