This is an exciting opportunity to join Eviden as a Credentialing Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in verifying the credentials of medical professionals.
In this position, you will work closely with various healthcare organizations to ensure the integrity of their credentialing processes. You will manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers, verify application accuracy, conduct thorough background checks, and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Diligently manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other licensed professionals.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of provider applications, ensuring all required documents are submitted.
- Conduct thorough background checks, license verifications, and references to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and hard copy files of all credentialing documentation.
You will communicate with providers to address discrepancies or missing information. Monitor expiring licenses and credentials, initiating the renewal process to avoid disruptions in services. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and requirements at all times.
Assist in preparing for and participating in audits and regulatory reviews. Provide support and guidance to internal staff on credentialing and privileging processes.
