SMSF Financial Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior SMSF Accountant to join our team. As a Senior SMSF Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation with precision and accuracy.
- Review and manage complex fund transactions including pensions, contributions, and investment portfolios.
- Liaise with auditors to finalise SMSF compliance reviews in a timely manner.
- Supervise and mentor intermediate SMSF accountants to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Provide technical support to Australian client managers on various SMSF related matters.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in SMSF accounting within an Australian accounting firm.
- In-depth knowledge of SMSF legislation, SIS Act, and ATO requirements.
- Experience with Class Super, BGL, or other SMSF administration software.
- Strong review and supervisory skills to ensure high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
