We are seeking a cybersecurity professional to lead our compliance initiatives.

Our team focuses on helping businesses scale securely by implementing cutting-edge security and compliance programs. We specialize in various frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR, which empower companies to meet regulatory standards and strengthen their cybersecurity posture from day one. Our partnership with Vanta has significantly contributed to our growth.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cybersecurity compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF. They should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate should also have experience overseeing or managing a small team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret cybersecurity regulatory requirements to ensure company compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity-focused compliance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with external teams to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  • Communicate directly with clients via text, email, and phone to address cybersecurity compliance concerns and provide support.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple cybersecurity compliance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards.
  • Lead and mentor a small team to effectively deliver on compliance objectives.

Must-have Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing or guiding a small team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients.
  • Experience working in cybersecurity compliance, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF frameworks.
  • Familiarity with creating and enforcing cybersecurity policies.
  • Experience working in a tech company with a focus on cybersecurity.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements:

  • Able to work US Eastern Time zone hours.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
