Global Project Manager Role

The role of Global Project Manager is a key position that oversees complex business and technical projects across multiple stakeholder groups.

This position requires the ability to lead and deliver projects with a focus on strategic enablement and operational excellence, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage projects through all phases—from initiation to implementation—ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, and success metrics.
  3. Drive process innovation and automation, identifying opportunities to streamline delivery and enhance user experience.
  4. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
  5. Provide clear, consistent communication to project teams, sponsors, and leadership.
  6. Champion cross-functional collaboration, establishing shared goals and accountability across teams.
  7. Track and report on project performance, including financials, resource utilization, and outcomes.
  8. Capture lessons learned and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  9. Act as a change agent, helping teams navigate ambiguity and adopt new ways of working.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in HR technology or employee experience domains.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with process improvement, automation, and digital tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Workday).
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in matrixed environments.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect project outcomes to enterprise strategy.
  • Skilled in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience working with AI, data platforms, or emerging technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to navigate complexity and drive clarity.
  • Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and visual—with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and leading through change.
  • Global mindset and flexibility to support distributed teams across time zones.
