Packaging Design Coordinator

Description

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Design Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the development of product packaging by collaborating with our Packaging Designer and Creative team to create functional, brand-aligned, and visually appealing packaging solutions.

This position combines creativity with attention to detail, ensuring that all packaging meets brand guidelines, communicates product value, and adheres to technical/production and compliance requirements.

You will work closely with our Product Development and Compliance teams to support the creation of new and updated packaging that aligns with regulatory requirements and translates brand and product needs into clear, compelling packaging solutions.

This is a full-time (40h/week), paid, hourly, non-exempt, remote position. Candidates should be able to work an EST or CST timezone.

Responsibilities
  • Creative Asset Development & Execution
  • Prepare consistent print-ready artwork alongside the Compliance team, ensuring that all brand guidelines, legal requirements, and deadlines are met.
  • Adapt existing packaging designs across formats, sizes, and product lines.
  • Support the development and refinement of packaging assets to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in packaging design, preferably with at least 1 year in a coordinator or similar role.
  • Intermediate proficiency in design software is required, preferably Adobe Illustrator. Experience with Photoshop is strongly preferred, and familiarity with tools like Slack, Asana or other project management tools, and Propel is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in packaging design for DTC and Retail is preferred; CPG experience also a plus.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • This role involves sitting most of the time but may also involve moving for brief periods of time.
