Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Content Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Content Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting research and identifying medical coding and billing documents to support the development of our automated claims editing solution.

The successful candidate will have excellent research and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and presentation skills. You will work closely with our clinical colleagues to obtain consensus on proposed denial criteria and provide clinical content support to our customers.

  • Conduct research and identify medical coding and billing documents to support the development of our automated claims editing solution.
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform clinical content decisions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical content databases.
  • Provide written and oral presentations to internal stakeholders to communicate clinical content information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P) or AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC). At least 5 years of experience in CPT Coding, HCPCS, Medical Billing, Claims Denials, and/or Chart Review/Auditing.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
