About the Role:

As a Utility Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality inspections, data accuracy, and process improvements in the electric utility sector. You will catalog utility assets, identify equipment issues and potential hazards, and collaborate with utility companies to meet project goals and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality work and data accuracy.
  • Catalog utility assets and identify equipment issues or hazards.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Develop and mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to meet project objectives.
  • Align data accuracy with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of national engineering standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
