Role Summary

The Assistant Cost Manager role involves:

  • Coordinating cost estimation and planning activities.
  • Managing procurement processes from pre-qualification to contract preparation.
  • Preparing and submitting tenders and bids.
  • Overseeing monthly work progress and claims.
  • Producing regular cost reports and analyses.
  • Reviewing and producing variation orders and final accounts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in cost management, preferably in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in cost estimating, bill of quantities, value engineering, and contract management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
