Job Description:

The Cloud Data Engineer will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data pipelines using Apache Beam or AWS Glue
  • Developing and deploying cloud-based data lakes using Amazon S3 and Apache Hadoop
  • Maintaining and optimizing existing data processing systems using AWS Lambda and SQS
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with business applications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, the candidate must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, business intelligence, data visualization, and/or data science
  • Strong knowledge of big data technologies such as Hive, Spark (PySpark), and Presto
  • Experience with Terraform scripting and DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
