Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Threat Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As an essential component of our Global Security and Risk organization, the Asurion Philippines Security Operations Center (Ph-SOC) has the responsibility to proactively detect any situations that could impact our employees or assets in the Philippines and selected APAC and Japan sites.

The Ph-SOC Analyst will collect, assess, and disseminate information to global security leadership and appropriate business entities during the reactive phase of any issue affecting our operations. This is a fast-paced, information-driven environment requiring personnel to be highly motivated, quality conscious, and able to perform tasks with little or no supervision.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Mitigate Cargo Security Risks: Monitor cargo shipments to prevent theft and other security threats from initial movement to destination.
  • Emergency Notifications: Facilitate emergency notifications to sites globally via our mass notification platform to enhance employee security and safety.
  • Critical Event Reporting: Report and notify critical and non-critical events from initial discovery through resolution.
  • Situational Awareness: Proactively identify circumstances that could impact our business travelers and collect/disseminate information to enhance situational awareness.
  • Physical Access Control: Oversee physical access control at multiple sites through our enterprise-wide operating system to monitor authorized and unauthorized entry attempts.
