We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company that specializes in cloud-based geospatial platforms.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing, building, and optimizing robust backend systems and APIs built for speed and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop secure, reliable, and efficient public-facing APIs.
  • Own CI/CD pipelines that power continuous integration and deployment.
  • Implement best-in-class monitoring and observability with tools like Datadog or New Relic.
  • Partner with frontend developers and stakeholders to align backend architecture with business goals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of backend development experience, building and scaling public-facing APIs.
  • Coding skills in Python with solid experience in Flask or FastAPI.
  • Highly skilled in SQL and PostgreSQL, ideally PostGIS for geospatial data.
  • Experience with spatial mapping tools (like Mapbox) or GIS concepts.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, shapefiles, or KMZ.
