Job Title: Senior Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting implementation project teams to deliver Dayforce configuration that follows best practices.

You will provide limited customer support to clients awaiting implementation of their Dayforce product and deliver long-term solutions to fix configuration gaps identified by Dayforce customers post go-live. Rework solutioning includes confirming and/or gathering requirements, identifying data and configuration issues, and architecting a scalable and robust solution.

The ideal candidate will have superior communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. You will ensure timely completion of projects across various Dayforce modules and align the solutions provided with customers' needs. Additionally, you will mentor and consult with team members, document implementation process gaps, and incorporate best practices.

This role requires a high level of proficiency in SQL, XML, and XSLT, as well as experience in support, consulting, and/or project management, specifically in the HCM space. We value your ability to work collaboratively with internal teams across the organization to improve implementation quality and minimize rework post go-live.

• Confirm, gather, understand, and document customer requirements
• Consult customers on various options to address business requirements
• Write SQL code to identify, troubleshoot, and fix data as well as configuration issues in the customer's Dayforce instance
• Understand, troubleshoot, and modify XML and XSLT code
• Project Management
  • Create and follow a project plan using effort estimation, outline action items, measure progress, make adjustments, and follow the plan through to completion
  • Provide customers with significant and timely updates
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects for a customer and maintain strong relationships
• Collaborate with customers, Ceridian contacts, and 3rd-party vendors to conduct thorough testing to deliver a complete and high-quality solution
• Use negotiation and conflict resolution skills to drive projects to successful resolution
• Recommend continued product enhancements
• Support the Solutions Team by providing mentorship and high-quality training materials, providing solution oversight for projects, creating, documenting, and optimizing team processes

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant software/computer-related fields
• 4+ years of support experience or equivalent
• Superior communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database systems
• Expert understanding of programming, HTML, and Microsoft Server Technology
• Technical knowledge of XML and XSLT
• Solid exposure to hosting and change management protocols
• Previous experience in support, consulting, and/or project management, specifically in the HCM space
