Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Planning Drawings, Elevations & Layouts Specialist to join our design team. This role requires proficiency in CAD tools and a thorough understanding of space planning, building elevations, and architectural layouts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create accurate planning drawings, elevations, and layout plans using CAD software.
  2. Interpret architectural sketches and design briefs to develop full construction-ready plans that meet aesthetic and regulatory standards.
  3. Optimize space efficiency while adhering to client specifications and building codes.
  4. Ensure all drawings align with UK building regulations and planning guidelines.
  5. Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to revise and improve drawing packages.
  6. Maintain organized records of revisions and drawing sets for project tracking.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in architectural planning, CAD drafting, or design layout development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent drafting/design tools.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning processes, zoning codes, and building regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual presentation of technical documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects and adapt to evolving client needs.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate remotely and provide updates clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A portfolio showcasing previous planning, elevation, and layout work is highly desirable.
