Research Intelligence Specialist Opportunity

This is a remote, full-time role focused on market intelligence gathering through a combination of online research and direct outreach.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will contact apartment staff or review trusted websites to collect key property data such as rental rates, occupancy levels, and other market-specific information. They will also assist in tracking new developments, acquisitions, and listings to ensure our data remains accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contacting local apartment communities to verify and update property information
  • Conducting online research to gather rental and occupancy data
  • Tracking development pipelines: what's being built, where, and by whom
  • Identifying property sales, listings, and ownership changes
  • Inputting and managing data using Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Communicating findings clearly and accurately via email and internal tools

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A self-starter with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
  • Comfortable using a VOIP system via Microsoft Teams for phone calls
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Reliable computer setup, preferably with dual monitors and a stable internet connection
  • Someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering high-quality, accurate work
  • Previous experience or interest in commercial real estate is a plus but not required
