We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our Equity Derivatives and Trading Technology Quality Assurance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for automating and enhancing our current framework, as well as supporting functional and regression testing for every sprint. This will involve working closely with our test automation and global development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities will include analysing and building a comprehensive test automation suite, including functional, component, regression and performance tests. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to follow the test plan/schedule in building test scripts, executing test scripts and reporting and documenting test results.

In addition, the Test Automation Engineer will work on the continuous integration framework for the automation suite, assessing compatibility with cloud-based infrastructure and ensuring delivery of software to its highest standards.

Key Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software application testing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to navigate through vague specifications and requirements and coordinate relevant stakeholders
  • Fast learner, critical thinker and able to work under time pressure
  • Knowledge of UI automation tools such as Selenium, Java/Python, Robot Framework, as well as SQL, Unix and Cucumber is highly desirable
