Senior Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating the system infrastructure, devices, servers, and client systems. They will also recommend new technologies and infrastructure upgrades to meet organizational needs, as well as act as a resource and mentor for other IT staff on technical questions, troubleshooting, and system design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design methodologies and utilize software and hardware tools to identify, diagnose, and correct problems affecting system performance.
  • Coordinate installation, configuration, and use of multi-site systems with vendors and other sites.
  • Maintain quality of service by following organizational standards and policies.
  • Implement and maintain complex systems with monitoring to ensure proper operation and adherence to standards.
Requirements
  • Eight years related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Certification in Microsoft Certified (Azure, O365), Dell Associate DCA, VMware Certified Professional preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Expert knowledge in migrations and related areas, including data migration from file servers to OneDrive/SharePoint for centralized file storage and collaboration.
  • Expert knowledge of SAML authentication for single sign-on, DNS infrastructure, Dell ECS/VX and Unity SANs, and managing VM environments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of managing/Upgrading Windows servers, managing/Upgrading SQL, Remote Desktop Services (RDS) licensing, Rubriks environment, internal CA certificates, and GPOs for on-prem AD domains.
Work Environment
  • Willing to work night shift and in a hybrid setup.
  • Willing to work at a designated location.
