Job Summary

This role involves maximizing insurance reimbursement for healthcare providers, analyzing and resolving medical claim denials, underpayments, or delays with US-based insurance carriers, developing and executing appeal processes for denied claims, and communicating effectively with practice owners and clinicians on claim status and resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize insurance reimbursement for healthcare providers by reviewing and processing medical claims efficiently.
  • Analyze and resolve medical claim denials, underpayments, or delays with US-based insurance carriers through thorough investigation and effective communication.
  • Develop and execute appeal processes for denied claims by gathering necessary documentation and presenting a compelling case to insurance carriers.
  • Communicate effectively with practice owners and clinicians on claim status and resolution by providing regular updates and addressing any concerns they may have.

Requirements
  • At least 6 months of experience in US-based AR follow-up and charge posting.
  • Familiarity with the US medical insurance industry and claims processing cycle.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC coding systems.
  • Understanding of CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim formats.
  • Proficiency in Vericle Software.
