We have 69 members, 49 of which are from the Asia and Pacific region. Our mission is to alleviate poverty and promote sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region.
Your RoleAs the Head of the Office of Markets Development and Public-Private Partnership (OMDP), you will lead the planning, operations, and administration to assist ADB's developing member countries (DMCs) in attracting greater private investment and fostering dynamic private-sector led growth across Asia and the Pacific.
Key Responsibilities- Create a new Public–Private Partnership Operational Plan towards 2030 and facilitate OMDP's long-term strategy
- Deliver new market development advisory-related products and operations for governments in ADB's DMCs, project sponsors, and financial institutions
- Develop OMDP work plans and monitor the quality of output, the achievement of market development advisory-related long-term goals and annual goals for the ADB
You will need:
- A Master's degree, or equivalent, in one or more development-related disciplines or related fields; or University degree in one or more development-related disciplines or related fields, combined with at least 10 years specialized experience relevant to the position in similar organization/s, may be considered in lieu of a Master's degree
- At least 15 years of relevant professional experience developing or financing infrastructure projects including PPP transactions
- Experience structuring project finance transactions or providing TAS in several sectors and countries with actual negotiation and coordination among stakeholders
