
Disaster Relief Customer Service Representative

We are seeking dedicated and motivated professionals to join our disaster relief efforts. This is a temporary, remote position contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs.
Candidates accepted for this role will be contacted on an as-needed basis. Work hours are from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET, with shifts from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and support
- Learn common requests and solutions to improve the customer experience
- Utilize service techniques and systems to resolve customer inquiries
- Evaluate and escalate customer dissatisfaction to proper channels
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Understanding of Windows operating systems
- Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
- Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
- Customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, conscientious)
- Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
- Strong team orientation and customer focus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with change and ambiguity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with team and customers
