Senior Accountant Opportunity

This role presents a chance to work with U.S. clients in the technology space, leveraging technical expertise and leadership potential to drive business outcomes.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for solving complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-to-end General Ledger Accounting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • Partner with the Finance Controller to develop and implement ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting strategies.
  • Design and roll out processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350, driving efficiency and compliance.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, providing insights that inform business decisions.
  • Lead projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation, showcasing expertise and initiative.
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements, driving operational excellence and productivity.
  • Participate in software implementations, process upgrades, and cross-training initiatives, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Take ownership of special projects, ad hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CPA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, backed by 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience.
  • 2-3 years in Big 4 audit or multinational companies, with at least 2 years working with U.S. clients.
  • Strong exposure to ASC 606, QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Credit Card transactions, along with excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Able to work independently while acting with integrity and professionalism, contributing to a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
