Job Title: Enterprise Test Automation Architect

The Enterprise Test Automation Architect will lead the design, development and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks using various tools such as UFT, Tosca, Playwright, Selenium, Robot Framework and others.

This role requires creating robust, maintainable and efficient test automation solutions to support enterprise-level software delivery.

The architect will serve as a technical authority on automation, driving innovation and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement enterprise-level test automation frameworks using different automation tools.
  • Define automation architecture and best practices across multiple projects and teams.
  • Collaborate with QA, development and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead the creation of reusable test assets and libraries to accelerate automation efforts.
  • Estimate automation effort and assess feasibility of automation candidates based on complexity, reusability and business value.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of automation frameworks, test cases and processes.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to automation standards and guidelines.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to automation engineers and QA analysts.
  • Conduct training sessions for new team members to build proficiency in automation and automation practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest features and innovations in automation including AI-driven capabilities and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain automation dashboards and reports to provide visibility into test coverage, execution status and defect trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing and 5+ years in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with UFT, Tosca, Playwright, Selenium, Robot Framework or other automation tools.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level automation frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with test management tools.
