Financial Operations Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll and billing processes. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in managing critical tasks and meeting deadlines.
You will be responsible for processing time worked for temporary workers, accurate data entry into payroll and billing software, and assisting with creating and distributing customer invoices and reports. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a background in payroll or accounting.
Essential Functions:- Payroll Processing: Perform tasks such as processing time worked, data entry, verifying payroll data, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
- Billing Assistance: Assist the billing department with generating, reviewing, and distributing customer invoices, maintaining billing records, and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Data Compilation: Compile, verify, and review data from multiple sources for accuracy, and maintain records in payroll and billing systems.
- Sensitive Information Management: Safeguard sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments, provide updates to management, and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience, minimum of 2 years experience in payroll, billing, or accounting roles.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in staffing or temporary labor industry, knowledge of payroll compliance and tax regulations, proficiency in payroll and billing software, Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
