Product Engineer Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Product Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for taking ownership of projects requiring custom solutions and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

  • Identify customer requirements and gather all relevant details from stakeholders, data sources, and suppliers to determine the feasibility of the project.
  • Meet with suppliers to design and source custom products that meet customer requirements.
  • Perform product testing and validation to ensure that the custom solution is reliable, compliant to necessary standards, and meets customers' expectations.
  • Lead CANBUS related work and projects to ensure that CAN data is reversed, captured, and maintained correctly.
  • Provide after-sales support to customers to assist with any technical or product-related issues after project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Ensure timely project delivery and maintain open communication with stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product engineering.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product engineering, project management, and working with custom solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in CANBUS protocols, vehicle electronics, and integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and navigate complex technical challenges.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
  • Familiarity with wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
