Foreign Exchange Risk & Treasury Analyst

Job Category: Accounting and Finance

The role involves managing the company's foreign currency exposure across multiple markets and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Track and manage foreign currency obligations, develop risk mitigation strategies, ensure cost-effective and compliant currency operations, and measure FX movements on the business.
  2. Reconcile FX transactions, provide regular reporting on FX exposures, gains/losses, and hedging performance.
  3. Build relationships with financial institutions to secure competitive rates and service levels.
  4. Implement improvements to FX risk management processes, systems, and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, financial instruments, and hedging techniques.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with multi-currency environments, ideally in the travel industry.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling, with treasury management system experience a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach.
