
Retail Pharmacy Leader

The store pharmacist serves as the key professional responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations. Their primary objectives include ensuring profitability, delivering high-quality services, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional customer experiences.
To achieve these goals, the store pharmacist will prioritize monitoring sales performance in health categories, recommend action plans to meet targets, and ensure consistent execution of Brand of Service Standards when interacting with customers.
The role also emphasizes the importance of performing digitally enabled services, supporting ROS compliance, and reducing shrinkage through efficient inventory and till management.
In addition, the store pharmacist will be responsible for monitoring store controllable expenses, recommending measures to improve cost efficiency and productivity, and adhering to health protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Key skills required for success in this position include analytical abilities to monitor initiatives, propose solutions, and track progress. The individual must also demonstrate effective management of the Brand of Service, handle customer feedback promptly, and escalate complaints appropriately.
Furthermore, the store pharmacist should practice ethical and legal standards of the profession, analyze store profitability, and implement cost optimization measures. They will also be responsible for identifying gaps, ensuring compliance, coaching staff on retail standards, and benchmarking retail practices to build relationships with mall partners and affiliates.
Finally, the successful candidate will be able to delegate tasks effectively, train on selling techniques, engage the team, and maintain motivation while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
