Senior Business Intelligence Developer

This role involves delivering and supporting data integrations from internal and external sources into the technical stack, ensuring accurate data delivery to systems. The Data Engineer will be responsible for building new data integrations (ETL components) and making changes to existing software.
Key Responsibilities- Understanding business requirements, defining solution approach, designing and implementing ETL components.
- Developing scripts and orchestrations as required.
- Ensuring best practices of ETL development are followed.
- Leveraging monitoring tools to track status of pipelines for performance and completion.
- Developing complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and insert data into and from the data warehouse.
- Engaging with stakeholders to clarify requirements and offer recommendations for improvements.
- Contributing to defining a scalable architecture.
- Coordinating production, development, and sandbox environments.
- Coordinating releases with DevOps teams and preparing related documentation.
- Participating in peer code reviews.
- Providing coaching and guidance to junior team members on technologies and processes.
- Providing support and recommendations for testing and UAT for work being delivered.
- Providing out-of-hours support for incidents.
- Participating in routine maintenance, performance tuning, and support of ETL and the data warehouse environment.
