We are seeking an Instructional Designer to create engaging instructional videos that support our training initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with other departments to develop learner-focused experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Script-to-Screen Production: Transform training scripts and storyboards into polished, animated videos using Powtoon or similar tools.
  • Visual Storytelling: Apply our branding and design guidelines to produce videos that enhance clarity, engagement, and retention.
  • Storyboarding & Planning: Collaborate with content creators to storyboard scenes, plan visual flow, and determine the most effective visual treatment.
  • Audio & Voice Integration: Integrate narration, background music, and sound effects to reinforce tone and timing.
  • Content Conversion: Transform written training materials into dynamic, learner-friendly video formats.
  • Video QA & Iteration: Review and revise videos based on team and learner feedback to ensure high-quality final deliverables.
  • LMS Collaboration: Coordinate with LMS Content Coordinators and/or Training Developers to format, test, and upload videos to learning management systems.
  • Template & Asset Management: Build and maintain reusable video templates and visual assets to ensure consistency and streamline production.
  • Project Coordination: Manage video development timelines and deliverables, ensuring content is delivered on time and aligned with training calendars.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using video/audio tools (e.g., Powtoon, Canva, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Basic knowledge of instructional design or eLearning principles
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Portfolio showcasing instructional designs and SCORM files
