Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Market Operations Specialist to join our team. This role requires strong understanding of trading fundamentals, risk management, and technical literacy.


The ideal candidate will have solid grasp of order books, spreads, liquidity, and hedging. They will also possess basic technical skills, including log analysis, error message interpretation, and dashboard navigation.


This position involves monitoring open positions across spot and futures markets during night hours, overseeing market making bots, identifying and escalating issues, and communicating with the core trading/engineering team when anomalies occur.


Responsibilities:
  • Position Monitoring:
  • Monitor open positions across spot and futures markets during night hours.
  • Oversee market making bots: review logs, verify correct order placements, and track executions.
  • Identify and promptly escalate issues (system errors, unexpected PnL swings, exchange disconnects, etc.).
  • Communicate with the core trading/engineering team when anomalies occur.
  • Ensure risk limits and exposure are kept within agreed parameters.
  • Solid understanding of trading fundamentals (order books, spreads, liquidity, hedging).
  • Basic technical literacy (log analysis, error message interpretation, dashboard navigation).
  • Experience in crypto trading or a strong willingness to learn.
