Software Development Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly with React Native.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building mobile applications using React Native.

  • Support component design, development, and maintenance.
  • Define structured practices for source code management, building, and deployment.
  • Design and implement data fetching and persistence solutions.
  • Optimise performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Analyse client requirements and assist with implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design and build mobile applications using React Native.
  • Component Support: Provide support for component design, development, and maintenance.
  • Source Code Management: Define structured practices for source code management, building, and deployment.
  • Data Fetching: Design and implement data fetching and persistence solutions.
  • Performance Optimisation: Optmise performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Requirements:
  • Significant React Native Development Experience: 5+ years of experience in React Native development.
  • Expert Knowledge: Expert knowledge of React Native architecture, navigation patterns, and performance optimisation.
  • Platform-Specific Implementations: Proficiency with platform-specific implementations (iOS/Android) and native module integration.
  • State Management Solutions: Experience with state management solutions (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, or similar).
  • Mobile App Lifecycle: Strong understanding of mobile app lifecycle, memory management, and performance best practices.
  • Responsive Design: Knowledge of mobile-specific UI/UX patterns and responsive design principles.
  • API Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
  • Accessibility Standards: Understand accessibility standards and internationalisation.
