Cloud Architect Position

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud environments to support applications and services.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Design and implement cloud architectures using AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM, and more.\
  • Develop and maintain automated pipelines for continuous deployment, integrating tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.\
  • Manage and support Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability and flexibility.\
  • Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions (e.g., New Relic) and use CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events/Alarms, syslogs, and other cloud analytics tools.\
  • Automate tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform to streamline deployment of containers and EC2 instances.\
  • Support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks, and integrate test automation into CI/CD processes.\
  • Apply AWS security best practices to protect infrastructure.\
  • Strong troubleshooting, server resource management, and database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL); experience with Linux and Windows servers.\
  • Scripting and automation using AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and SNS for event-driven patterns.\
  • Collaborative work environment and ability to work well in a remote setting.\
  • Maintenance of up-to-date skills with cloud technologies and willingness to learn new ones.\
  • Management of projects through their completion.\
  • Proven track record of delivering results while adhering to established boundaries.\
  • Commitment to operational excellence through the design and operation of secure cloud-based systems.\
  • Familiarity with IT operations, including DNS and network configuration, Apache/Nginx setup, and OS patching.\
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly valued but not required.\
  • Prior experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security measures is desired.\
  • Detailed understanding of system administration principles and procedures.\
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\
