Cloud Infrastructure Specialist


About the Role:

This position focuses on automating cloud infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring scalability and reliability of our applications across environments.

You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure, collaborating closely with engineering teams to streamline infrastructure powering our global platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering, with proficiency in Python, Bash, Terraform, and Docker/Kubernetes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Development: Design and implement infrastructure tools and automation using Python, Bash, Terraform, or Nix to enhance the scalability, reliability, and performance of platforms.
  • CICD Pipeline Management: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support multiple development teams.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and availability, providing analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Incident Response: Practice sustainable incident response and promote blameless postmortems.
  • Service-Level Objectives: Develop and uphold service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and error budgets for our services.

Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Bash, Terraform, and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Database Management: Experience scaling MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic).
  • Troubleshooting: Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
