Key Position Summary:

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and refine an enterprise-wide validation framework for analytical tools
  2. Plan and execute thorough validation projects
  3. Evaluate the quality and risk of analytical tools across the organization
  4. Understand and analyze technical issues in analytical tools
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for emerging analytical tools and technologies
  6. Effectively communicate results clearly and concisely
  7. Leverage education and training opportunities to develop innovative solutions
  8. Coach and mentor junior staff members

Baseline Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field)
  • No less than 7 years of experience in data analytics
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing with open source data technologies
  • 2+ years of experience managing people and teams
  • Able to work in a hybrid setup; willing to undergo background and credit checks required for financial services roles

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Python, R, SQL, AWS Services, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
