Backend Systems Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Systems Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our scalable backend systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies, design and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform, and ensure scalability, security, and automation.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and contribute to frontend development for technical customer interfaces.
  • Design and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate financial messaging solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement best practices for CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
Requirements:
  • Ambitious, curious, innovative, and a team player.
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus).
  • Strong experience in Node.js (backend-focused), with the ability to contribute to front-end development when needed.
  • Proficiency in AWS and Terraform (infrastructure as code).
  • 3–5 years of experience in software development, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and API integrations.
