Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to manage our infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and efficient support. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for handling all IT work, including firewall management, security, and user VPN for both remote and office environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to facilitate connectivity, access, and permissions to various applications. Additionally, you will work closely with the IT director on IT projects, encompassing new proposals, overall design, and reporting via JIRA and email.

Your partnership with DevOps/support teams will be crucial in resolving issues effectively. If you have a strong background in system administration, experience with Linux OS flavors (Red Hat/CentOS 6, 7, 8; Ubuntu), Windows administration, scripting (Bash, Python, or Perl), networking (FortiGate firewall setup), and IT automation using technologies like Ansible, we encourage you to apply.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an IT staff member.
  • Experience in third-party vendor/supplier management and coordination.
  • Fluent English proficiency.
  • Direct experience with US or EU customers.
  • Strong system administration skills in main Linux OS flavors: Red Hat/CentOS 6, 7, 8; Ubuntu.
  • Windows administration expertise; knowledge of current Windows releases (Windows 7/8/10) and Server versions (2008/2012); Remote Desktop.
  • Scripting proficiency: at least one of Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Networking expertise: FortiGate firewall setup; basic understanding of static routing and DHCP; basic Wi-Fi knowledge.
  • IT automation skills using technologies such as Ansible.
