Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based security solutions.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, encryption, and threat detection.

They will also have expertise in cloud service providers such as Azure and AWS, and be familiar with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based security architectures to protect client data and applications.
  • Develop and maintain secure cloud infrastructure configurations, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, and security groups.
  • Implement and manage cloud security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud security services with other IT initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on cloud service providers like Azure and AWS.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing secure cloud architecture.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, encryption, and threat detection.
  • Expertise in cloud security frameworks and compliance standards, including HIPAA/HITECH and PCI-DSS.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
