Financial Manager - Planning and Analysis

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead our planning and analysis functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement timely and accurate management reporting as directed by senior leadership.
  • Organize and manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast exercise.
  • Analyze actual vs budget/forecast variance and provide insights for improvement.
  • Consolidate operating and financial key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with senior management to review project progress and financial performance.
  • Assist in calculating standard costs and maintaining periodical updates.
  • Participate in ad-hoc requirements gathering, especially in incorporating budget planning and forecasting.
  • Track investments and business spending for government incentives updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., University Degree or ACCA).
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial and PMO functions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting concepts.
  • Meticulous and analytical with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, positive working attitude with discipline to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Excel.
  • Possession of Power BI knowledge is an added advantage.
