Job Title: Production Planning and Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planning and Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for planning, updating, and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules aligned with customer demand and available raw materials.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask under pressure. They will also possess strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, update, and maintain daily and weekly production schedules aligned with customer demand and available raw materials.
  • Monitor production progress and coordinate with operations teams to ensure adherence to the plan; make schedule adjustments when necessary.
  • Track inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehousing, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
  • Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and delays; escalate issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure implementation and maintenance of standard procedures aligned with quality assurance protocols.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on production schedules, inventory levels, material usage, and production KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in production planning and/or inventory control, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in ERP or planning systems; familiarity with inventory management principles.
  • Basic understanding of food safety standards and good manufacturing practices.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across departments.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and willing to contribute to operational improvements.
