Key Responsibilities
  • Assess manuscript novelty, evaluating whether it adds new knowledge or insights to the field of study.
  • Evaluate study design and methodology, ensuring that the research can be accurately reproduced in the future.
  • Conduct a comprehensive literature review, incorporating and citing relevant, up-to-date research in the field.
  • Analyze results and conclusions, evaluating whether they are presented clearly and supported by the data.
  • Provide constructive feedback, suggesting improvements or highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Recommend publication decisions based on evaluation findings.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced qualification in Rheumatology or a related field.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in your field.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals.
