Financial Professional Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented financial professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Australian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations, and supporting business decision-making.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Lodging BAS, IAS, and GST reports in compliance with ATO regulations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of income tax returns for businesses and individuals.
  • Reconciling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy.
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws and accounting standards (AASB, IFRS).
  • Liaising with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Australian accounting experience.

Technical Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, BAS/GST, and ATO compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Outlook, and Excel) is a must.
