Job Title: Lighting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertise in lighting solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in finding suitable lighting products based on their needs and preferences.
  • Provide information about different lighting options, fixtures, designs, and energy efficiency.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the lighting products available in the store.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, features, and technological advancements in the lighting industry.
  • Actively engage with customers, build rapport, and promote products to drive sales.
  • Utilize persuasive techniques to highlight the benefits and features of different lighting options.
  • Provide personalized consultation to customers by assessing their requirements, understanding their budget, and recommending appropriate lighting solutions.
  • Conduct demonstrations of lighting fixtures, including turning lights on/off, adjusting brightness, and showcasing various lighting effects.
  • Assist customers with installation instructions or coordinate installation services if provided.
  • Monitor inventory levels, update product displays, and ensure availability of stock.
  • Collaborate with the management team to reorder products, track sales performance, and provide input on popular or discontinued items.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the shopping experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues or complaints.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to the store's policies.
  • Maintain the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Arrange lighting fixtures, maintain product labels and pricing accuracy, and contribute to visual merchandising efforts to attract customers.
  • Identify opportunities to recommend complementary lighting products or accessories that enhance the customer's purchase.
  • Offer suggestions for additional lighting solutions, such as bulbs, dimmers, or smart home integration.
