Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented sales professional to join our team.

  • Maintain accurate cash handling and balance the cash register.
  • Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals.
  • Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
  • Ensure all prices and quantities are accurate during transactions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, with experience working in retail or a similar environment. They should be proficient in using computers, possess excellent communication skills, and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Handling: Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, balancing the cash register at the end of each shift.
  • Sales Operations: Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals to process transactions efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers receive a positive shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management tasks, such as receiving and stocking merchandise.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a retail or similar environment.
  • Skills: Proficient in using computers, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
