About the role

Data Operations Analysts are critical in managing and optimizing data processes to support seamless access, analysis, and decision-making across an organization. This position bridges the gap between technical data teams and business operations by designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient controls of data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Processing:
    • Designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient data processing systems.
  • Data Quality Management:
  • Establishing and maintaining data quality metrics, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions.
Data Pipeline Management:
  • Managing existing data pipelines to collect data from ingestion, processing, and distribution across different systems.
Performance Analysis:
  • Analyzing operational processes to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
System Administration:
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting data and reporting systems, including simple data and reporting tools administrative tasks.
BAU Ownership:
  • Manage and process existing BAU automated processes. Act as first-level incident support analysts in case of failure and maintenance of Ops Manual for ease of issue resolution.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of any IT or Computer related course preferably Engineering, Business Intelligence, Computer Science or Statistics related
  • 3 to 5 years experience
Essential Skills:
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of basic SQL, Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI)
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify patterns and trends in data
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively translate data insights into actionable recommendations
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex data findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaboration Skills: Effectively working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions
