Role Overview

As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will be instrumental in helping customers understand and utilize the value of our cutting-edge data platform.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise that makes our customers successful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Presents technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
  • Works hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of our technology throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position our technology in relation to them.
  • Collaborates with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve our products and marketing.
  • Is an advocate and develops mutual trust with the technical audience on the customer side.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience working in customer-facing sales engineering (tech pre-sales) role.
  • Strong competency on modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouse/lake, data science, and data apps.
  • Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL (Python knowledge would be a bonus).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data Science knowledge and experience.
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Software development experience with Java, Spark, and other scripting languages.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology and cloud data platforms.
  • Experience and track record of success selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers.
  • Sound understanding and experience in the market and technology ecosystem.
