About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced developer to join our team as a software engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain production stability by writing scripts, debugging live issues, and resolving defects reported through customer interactions or monitoring tools.
  • Participate in planning activities, perform code reviews, and contribute to a high-performing team.
  • Be an active member of the product development team in planning new features.
  • Own component(s) of the platform and ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Built quality software conforming to engineering best practices.
  • Stay updated in current and new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in RoR/GoLang, PostgresQL, and AWS.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in both relational and non-relational database designs.
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools (specifically Git and Github).
  • Experience with DevOps/TechOps.
  • Designed and deployed an API or microservice to a production environment.
  • Excellent understanding of relevant technologies including HTTP, RESTful APIs, JSON, JWT, CORS, websockets, application routing.
  • Experience in containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning.

Preferred Candidates:

  • Experience in event-driven architecture.
  • Developed tools to multiply effectiveness of the team.
  • Exhibited good judgment in recommending and adopting new technologies.
